The Participation Tee

Lest we Forget!  Run to the Wall  was established to memorialize all military service personnel, past, present, and future.  Past participants told us, we have a challenging “hilly” course but that they look forward to coming back year after year.   No matter what your athletic ability we are confident that you will be able to complete the course.   Run to the Wall is a race that brings the community together to commemorate all service members especially those who gave the most precious gift, one that we can never repay ~ their life.

You must be registared by July 20 to ensure getting a prarticipation tee.

2018 Run to the Wall T-Shirt

Running Divisions (5k, 10k, & Half Marathon)

  • Top overall male and female runner in each run (12"x12" granite plaque).
  • Top military male and female participants in each run (4"x8" Memorial Paver Brick).
  • Top 3 male and female participants in each age group in each run.
        14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over

Walking Divisions (5k)

  • There are no walking division awards.

Race-Day T-Shirts

All registered participants, registered before July 20, 2018, will receive a Cotton Race-Day T-shirt. You can personalize your shirt for an additional $10 donation but you must be registered, and enter the customization information by July 20, 2018.

T-Shirts & Awards will not be mailed!

5K Events (Walk and Run)

The 5K Walk and Run are out-and-back courses, starting at the park and proceeding north up Cleveland-Massillon Road and Van Buren to the turn-around point approximately 1.5 miles north of the park entrance.

10K Event

Image See the story below regarding changes to our half-marathon event. In addition to changing our half-marathon, we have moved our 10K route to follow along a similar route (it is still and out-and-back course), allowing us to better serve participants of both the 10K and Half-Marathon. While we are still working on logistics, we are trying to place a porta-john on the 10K & Half Marathon routes near the 10K turn around. More details to come.

Half Marathon Event

Image Join us for our third year of the half-marathon run. We are still working on logistics, we are trying to place a porta-john on the 10K & Half Marathon routes near the 10 K turn around, which means the half-marathoners will pass the porta-john near the 3 mile and 8.5 mile mark.
