Register for 2020 The Hungry Turtle Crawl 4k
The Hungry Turtle Crawl is a fast, flat loop 2.57 Run/Walk course through the historic streets and parks of Northeast Canton on Saturday, April 18. There is a 30 yard kids dash with 2 heats for kids 6-under (Heat 1) & kids 7-10 (Heat 2). All events starts and finishes at the StarkFresh Food Production & Job Skills Training Farm space (613 Rowland Ave NE, Canton, OH 44704).
The Hungry Turtle Crawl is presented by StarkFresh who's mission is to improve healthy food access and advance food and farming education to everyone in Stark County. Each registration fee goes towards their goal to end food insecurities. You can donate to our organizations by going to this link fundraiser page, donations can also be made through the registration process.
Schedule:
7:00-8:45 AM - Packet Pickups
8:00 AM - Heat 1 for 30 Yards Kids Dash (Ages 6 & Under) Start
8:15 AM - Heat 2 for 30 Yards Kids Dash (Ages 7-10) Start
8:45 AM - 2.57 Mile Run/Walk Start
Additional Information:
Each participant will receive a printed T-shirt and the FIRST 150 registrants will receive a commemorative turtle foam visor!
Walkers are welcome to attend!
Parking is on-street, south of 6th Street NE.
Restrooms are available at the Start/Finish area.
Following the race, there will be an open house at the farm site. Healthy refreshments will be available for all participants.
