Check us out on Instagram!The Twins Days 5K Run/Walk takes place on a certified course that winds along a predominantly shaded trail. The event is part of the Ohio Challenge Series. This event occurs during the Twins Days Festival which takes place on August 7-9, 2020. The Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio is the largest annual gathering of twins and multiples in the world! PROCEEDS BENEFIT EMPOWER SPORTS.
Who We Run For:
Empower Sports exists to enrich the lives of athletes of diverse challenges through sports and exercise while promoting kindness, character, and tolerance. They believe that EVERY athlete should have an opportunity to participate in the games they love and that sports can be used to shatter false stereotypes of people with special needs. Empower Sports is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to providing sports and exercise programs for children and adults with various physical and cognitive disabilities. They value diversity, relationships, service, and empathy. You can donate to Empower Sports here or through the link fundraiser page, donations can also be made through the registration process.
Pre-registration:
Pre-register by 8/5 to guarantee your t-shirt size! (all registrants after that will be limited to sizing availabe, first come first serve basis)
Register as an individual runner or as part of a multiples team. Pre-register to save money! (registration price is slightly increased on race day)
Race Day - August 9! - Twins Day Dodge Intermediate School, 10225 Ravenna Rd Twinsburg, OH 44087
7:15 AM - Race Day Registration - pavilion near the entrance to the Center Valley Park trail, located on the eastern edge of the school
8:25 AM - Group Photo of all Twins, Triplets, or Quadruplets Runners/Walkers near Start Line
8:30 AM - 5K Run/Walk Starts (walkers & strollers are also welcome) - Near Christ the King Lutheran Church on side road
9:30 AM - 1/4 Mile Kids Fun Run (Ages 8 & Under) - near finish area
Post Race:
Water and light refreshments will be provided at the finish line.
Prizes will be awarded for the following:
-Top 3 Finishers in Men's & Women's
-Top 3 Men's & Women's in each Age Categories 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65 & Over
-Top 3 Twin Team's Categories Female, Male, & CoEd
