All registrations received before Friday, 09/11/2020 11:59PM EST will be guaranteed shirts and custom finisher medals. Registrations received after the date will be accepted into the race, but will not be guaranteed shirts or medals.
Event Day
If you like to run or walk for a reason, now is your chance to participate in the 2020 K-9 5K race event coming to Canton, Ohio this October. This unique event features a K-9 demonstration after the race, fun photo opportunities and a FREE Chase the Tails kids' race. Stick around after for our post-race celebration party at the Canton Brewing Company.

Runners and walkers, you can add to your registration in three different ways:
1. Add on a custom PK9A 16 oz. pilsner glass - available in quantities of 1, 2, 4 and 8! SOLD OUT!
2. Register your dog! You can run or walk with your dog and you will receive a custom PK9A dog tag! Limit: one dog per registrant please. SOLD OUT!

Can't make it to the event, but want to support the K-9's? No problem! Select the 'Virtual Race' option to run / walk from anywhere / anytime! All virtual registrants will be mailed a 2020 PK9A shirt and custom finisher medal the first week in October.

About Us
The Police K-9 Association is a 501(c)(3) responsible for providing K-9 handler education and raising funds for 40+ active and retired Ohio K-9's between 20 different police and sheriff departments. The costs of maintaining a prosperous K-9 program are often excluded in city and county financial budgets. Bullet proof vests, unforeseen medical expenses and training equipment are a handful of items the PK9A® raises funds for. 100% of event proceeds will benefit 40+ active and retired Ohio K-9's.
Race Details
- For the most accurate results, the 5K will be chip timed at both the start and finish lines.
- The 1-Mile, Kids' and Virtual races will not be chip timed.
- The FREE Kids' Race Chase the Tails will begin on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 9:30am.
- The 5K and 1-Mile will begin on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 10:00am.
- The Virtual race can be completed by registrants at their own leisure, anywhere, anytime.
- Registrants for the 5K, 1-Mile and Virtual, will receive a limited-edition race shirt and unique finisher medal.
- The FREE Kids' Race does not include a finisher medal or shirt.
- 5K, 1-Mile and Virtual registrants can register their dogs and will receive a PK9A dog tag.
- 5K and 1-Mile registrants can add on the option to purchase a custom PK9A 64oz. growler, available in quantities 1-5.
- 5K and 1-Mile registrants can add on the option to purchase custom PK9A 16 oz. pilsner glasses, available in quantities of 1, 2, 4 or 8.
- For those who would like to support the event, but do not wish to run or walk, you can purchase the K-9 growler separately by registering under the "Race Day Here for Beer" option. You can also add pilsner glasses onto your Here for Beer registration.
