Register for 2019 Lake Band 5K Run & Competitive Walk
The Lake Band 5k Run and Walk on Saturday April 13, 2019 will benefit the Lake Band Students efforts to fundraise for their upcoming 2020 trip and performance at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The 5K Competitive Walk/Run race begins at Lake Blue Streak Stadium and travels through local neighborhoods, concluding at Lake Blue Streak Stadium. The race will also feature a Pre-School race for students between the ages of 3 to 5 and a Fun Run specifically for students between the ages 6-11. The race is part of the Subway Ohio Challenge Series.
Start times are as follows:
Pre-school Run - 8:15am
Fun Run - 8:30am
5K Run - 9:00am
5K Competitve Walk - 9:05am
All participants will receive a Finisher's Medal. Awards for First, Second, and Third place overall Male and Female in the 5K Run and Competitive Walk categories will be awarded. First, Second, and Third place within age group brackets will also be awarded. Age Group Awards for the 5K Run and Competitive Walk categories will be awarded as follows: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-99. Awards will not be mailed.
Parking
See the map below for where to park the day of the race. There are certain lots that will be clearly marked which will be closed to race participants and spectators. These are clearly marked on the map, please plan accordingly. There is a tunnel between the school and the stadium near the constructiion that can be used to walk under Market Ave. rather than cross this busy road.
Race Course
The course is a standard out and back layout which begins and ends in Blue Streak Stadium (658 Market Ave N, Uniontown, OH 44685). The elevation change is minimal, making this a fast course.
