Key Sponsors

Races are routed through the picturesque, historic and natural beauty of downtown Canal Fulton, OH and along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath.

One of the main goals of the Rotary Club of Canal Fulton is to promote and acknowledge academic achievement in Northwest Local Schools.  At Northwest High School we are proud to support academic excellence in our community by awarding students at the annual Honors Banquet with meals and scholarships.  We are also proud to foster leadership by sponsoring Northwest students to the Buckeye Boys and Girls State program annually, and as partners with various booster clubs in our district, we have made important capital improvements in and around the Northwest Local campus.  Rotary Club of Canal Fulton also donates to local charities including Echoing Ridge, Community Cupboard and Bountiful Gifts.

Another goal of the Rotary Club of Canal Fulton is to promote community service in the next generations. Rotaract and Interact are two organizations that are doing just that. Since Rotaract’s first meeting in June, they have volunteered their time at a baseball tournament for the physically and mentally disabled; at the local high school’s Alumni Football Game; at a volleyball tournament to raise money for a child with cancer; at a service day to clean up the facility and property where we and our Rotary club both meet; at a regional food bank where we spend two hours in the early morning cleaning and packing potatoes; and at our local community cupboard. All of this has been possible through a grant we received when we started this group and with the help of our Rotary club, who with their years of service advise us on projects.

Our Northwest High School Interact Club is second to none in organization and action.  With the help of Rotary sponsorship, these promising NHS students respond to many needs in our community. In the last two years, the Interact at Northwest High School has grown from 25 to over 60 student members, taking on countless projects every year.

We are proud to work with these truly outstanding young people to deliver meaningful service, but the Rotary Club of Canal Fulton could not maintain any of these programs without your help. Our primary source of revenue for these and other programs stems from the Mother of All Races 5k and 10k race.  Donations can also be given by going to this link fundraiser page, donations can also be made through the registration process.
