Register for 2021 Virtual Soap Box Derby 5K
The Soap Box Derby Virtual 5K Walk & Run is an event everyone can enjoy! This event is a great way to be a part of the Derby's long history of youth competition. Join the Derby in this great opportunity to promote health and wellness while supporting the SBD's mission. If you are a Derby racer make sure to check out the special fundraising competition between all of our Racing Regions! All proceeds will go towards maintaining Soap Box Derby operations and STEM education programs. Let's keep the Derby #RollingForward!

Date of Race - April 9 - April 26, 2021
- Registration Fee - $35
- Run or walk from the location of your choosing between the allowed race dates
- Submit your finishing time, if you would like, by April 26, 2021
- All participants will receive a t-shirt and a medal.
- No refunds are available
*Registration closes April 8, 2021.
General Prizes
- All racers will receive a Derby themed medal and t-shirt.
- The participant with the fastest time in each age group will receive a $25 Visa gift card.
- The participant who raises the most funds in each age group will receive a $100 Visa Gift card.
Soap Box Derby Race Local Prizes
- Each region can create a team that will compete with the other regions in raising funds for the SBD's mission.
- The region with highest funds raised will receive a 20% discount on a one-time bulk purchase from the Derby's Store. (*The Regional Director who Region wins, please contact Cindi Zagar at 330.733.8723 x32 or cindi@soapboxderby.org to process your order.)
- Each participant is encouraged to have goal of raising $100.
Packet Distribution
- Packets will be mailed to all participants two weeks after registration closes. (Includes t-shirt and medal)

- 10 + under; 11-17; 18-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50+
