The Twins Days 5K Fun Run & Walk will take place on Sunday morning at Dodge Intermediate School, which is across the street from the festival site. This event intends to promote and enjoy fitness while raising money for a worthy cause. PROCEEDS BENEFIT EMPOWER SPORTS.
There will also be a kids' "fun run" of just under ¼ mile on the track.
Walkers and strollers are also welcome.
T-Shirts:
We offer Youth Small to Large & Adult Small to 3X-Large along with a No T-Shirt option for a $5 discount.
T-Shirts will be provided to those signed up by July 28th!
Who We Run For:
Empower Sports exists to enrich the lives of athletes of diverse challenges through sports and exercise while promoting kindness, character, and tolerance. They believe that EVERY athlete should have an opportunity to participate in the games they love and that sports can be used to shatter false stereotypes of people with special needs. Empower Sports is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to providing sports and exercise programs for children and adults with various physical and cognitive disabilities. 8:30 AM - 5K Run/Walk Start at Dodge Intermediate School driveway
9:00 AM - Children's Fun Run starts at the track near the finish line for the 5K
